2011 – 2013: Research Master Historical Studies (MA), Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands. Graduated cum laude, with 28 ECTS more than required. Also did a Research Internship at Stanford University (2 months) supervised by Prof. Dr. Arthur P. Wolf. Thesis: ‘Gender versus Adoption. Determinants and Patterns of Infant and Child Mortality in Hai-shan, 1906-1945. Supervisors: Prof. dr. Theo Engelen & dr. Hilde Bras.

2008 – 2011: Bachelor in History (BA), Radboud University in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, graduated bene meritum, with 36 ECTS more than required. Also followed an International Minor at the University of Glasgow with ERASMUS(5 months).

2002 – 2008: High School (VWO E&M ‘Atheneum’ level), Dendron College in Horst.
